***REFLECTION TASK 1A*** (EDITED VERSION)

  Hi,everyone! I am Esma. In this report, I want to talk about and introduce myself. I am 18 years old and studying a department that I love. 
  Firstly, I can talk about things that I like. I like cooking and trying out new recipes and I am interested in Korean cuisine. One day, I will absolutely eat an original Korean food.:)) 

                                        

  I also like books. While I am reading a book, I feel as if I was in that book, a different world. Besides, watching film-especially ones that are fictional,adventure,horror,etc.- is one of my favourite spare time activities. In addition, singing, looking for new music,watching Korean TV series and translating are my favourite activities. Although my voice is not so good, I like singing English songs.:)) Also, when I am fed up with some of my songs, I try to find new trends and enjoy doing that. 
  Watching Korean Tv series is absolutely a great activity for me because I like the way they live,eat -nearly everything about them. You know, my interest in Korean cuisine has started with Korean Tv series. Yeap, these are my favourite activities.:))
  Well, I have finished a Korean Tv series recently named 'You Came From The Stars'. My roommate advised it to me and I really enjoyed watching it. It's theme is really different,interesting and funny. I advise it all of you:)

  Besides, my last book that I read is 'The Fault in Our Stars'. It is absolutely incredible and worth reading. Although I generally read fictional novels,I have loved this realistic and dramatic novel,also. I think everyone should read it. After I have read the book,I have watched its film and I am glad to see that the book and the film are not different from each other. I pay attention to this because films sometimes may be relatively different from books and I do not like it because the book is the original one. 

                  So, I have talked about my interestings.That's it. Take care of yourselves.:)))

REFLECTION TASK 3A

My candidate for the person of the year is Ed Sheeren because I think he has made many successful works for a person like him who is so young. He made a song for the ongoing series of “Lord of Rings” , which is “The Hobbit.” I really enjoy listening to that song which is called “I See Fire.” Now, I want to give a brief information about him.

He was born in 17th February 1991, he is 23 years old. He is an English song writer, singer and album producer. He started to his music career in 2005 and moved to England to go on to his music career. He had 312 concert performance in 2009. With his songs “The A Team” and “Lego Hause” which are in  his first album called “+”, he made a breakthrough. The album has 5x Platinium Record Certificate.

He was also chosen as the Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act."The A Team" won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2014 he was nominated for Best New Artist at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards."The A Team" won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2014 he was nominated for Best New Artist at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.  "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards and he performed the song in duet with Elton John during the ceremony.

To sum up, he has made many great things, he is so ability and I believe that he will be better and will make greater songs for us. :))

REFLECTION TASK 2B

 For this task, I chosed the song ‘I am Machine’ from the group called ‘Three Days Grace’. The song is about feeling like a robot despite being a humanbeing. Therefore, the song is about wishes to feel something because of being a humanbeing.

 According to the song writer, he/she cannot feel anything. He/She thinks that there is a beauty in feeling something even if it is pain or suffering. He/She wishes to feel something even if it is bad. The song writer says that he/she is a machine, not a humanbeing. He/She cannot sleep like a normal humanbeing.

 However, according to me, these are just symbolic words to explain the unableness of showing a reflection to the events because there is such a big pain that was gone through once , it cannot be felt anymore.

 I think the same thing ,actually. A person can be numb if that person goes through many difficulties. However, at the same time, I think this is a choice which is dependent to us.

 I think the way the song writer reflects his/her ideas, feelings is really attractive. When I first listened to this song, I was really impressed because of its beauty in music. I think its music has really a good quality.

Reflection Task 2a

Korean Culture and Its Impact on Our Country

Today, I want to talk about a topic that is acquaintance to me. It's because I know how people in our country-especially,young girls- enjoy watching Korean TV-series. I chosed this topic because I also love watching their TV series and I listen to their songs. Moreover, I also like the way they cook. I really wonder about their food. One day, I want to go there and taste them. So, I'll talk about both it's impact on me and our society.

  People in our country are really getting interested in Korean culture. There are many special sites on the Internet about Korean TV- series, foods and even their celebrities. Via these special sites, they can get more information about them. By watching their TV-series, they get information about their living style, their cuisine and their music style.

  Firstly, I think it is nice to get acquaintance with an another culture. I think that it helps people to see the world from a different aspect. People can understand people different from themselves more easily. Moreover, on the other hand, some people can go to extremes about this situation. There are even some young girls who go to Korea, I mean - while saying going- escaping. Generally, their goals are not to get a job or to get an education.I mean that their goals are not beneficial ones. They go there because they like  Korean boys. They see and watch them in TV-series, and then, they want to see them, they want to live there. According to me, these reasons to go there are not logical and there are trouble-giving results. They can go through many difficulties while trying to live there.

  Secondly, people in our country, even want to eat rice with chopsticks. In a site which I use to watch their TV-series and where I am a translater ,also , there are some advertisements about selling chopsticks. It means that there are some people wanting to use them like Korean people.

  Thirdly, there are also many sites about their cuisine. They show many recipes of Korean foods. One day, I remember that I also looked for a site like those to make ramen.

  On the other hand, there are also many people who don't like Korean and Korean TV-series. They see Korean people so cold and unlovable. According to them, their cultural elements are not really nice. However, these ideas are really contrast to mine. I think they are cute and lovable.

  To sum up, according to me, although there are some bad impacts of Korean culture's spreading in our country , in general, it's nice to get acquaintance with a different culture. Moreover, I think there are more people liking the Korean than the ones who don't like.
